Robert came to Kirstin's Haven unemployed and feeling hopeless. With support from our team he found steady work and used community resources for his health and therapy. As part of his recovery, Robert reunited with his family and moved to Virginia to live with his wife.

Dwight came to Kirstin's Haven through a referral from PG House and lived with us for two years. During that time he found steady work and rebuilt his relationship with his wife and family. He moved home to his family, where he helps provide for his household.

Wallace was referred to Kirstin's Haven by Friendship Place in Washington, DC. Within two months, our team helped him find a job, connect with community resources and build a daily routine with clear goals.

Andrew was referred by QCI Behavioral Health and joined Kirstin's Haven in 2012. With mentoring from staff and the resources in his community, he now lives independently, has reunited with his family and has built healthy relationships with his loved ones.

Jamar lived at Kirstin's Haven for two years. He re-established a healthy routine and strong relationships, and he now lives with his sister.

John was referred by QCI Behavioral Health and has called Kirstin's Haven home since 2011. He uses community resources to stay healthy and has the income he needs for safe, stable housing.

Anthony was referred by Housing Community Services, Inc. Our team helped him find steady work, and he later transferred to the VA in Los Angeles, where he reconnected with friends and family.
