Your first visit

What to expect.

Five steps from your first call to a plan built around your goals.

  1. Step 1: Reach out

    Call (240) 392-2876 or send the contact form. Self, family, provider and agency referrals are all welcome.

  2. Step 2: Intake and assessment

    A staff member confirms eligibility and insurance, then completes an assessment of your needs, strengths and goals.

  3. Step 3: Individualized plan

    Together with you, the team writes a treatment, rehabilitation or housing plan with clear goals.

  4. Step 4: Services and support

    Housing, case management, therapy, psychiatry, rehabilitation, recovery and employment services work as one coordinated team.

  5. Step 5: Review and next steps

    Progress is reviewed regularly, and the plan steps up or down in intensity until you can live independently.

  • A photo ID
  • Your insurance or Medicaid card
  • A list of your current medications
  • Any referral paperwork or records from other providers

Insurance and payment

Kirstin Care, LLC accepts Maryland Medicaid and many commercial insurance plans, and a sliding scale is available. Our intake team verifies your coverage before your first visit and explains any cost to you up front.
