Referrals
Refer someone to Kirstin's Haven.
Self, family, provider and agency referrals are all welcome. Send the details here and our intake team will follow up with you.
If this is a crisis, do not wait for a reply. Call or text 988 (veterans press 1), or call 911 if there is immediate danger.
What happens next
From referral to a conversation.
You send the referral
Tell us who you are, a first name or initials for the person, and the kind of support that fits. It takes a few minutes.
Our intake team reviews it
A member of our team reads every referral and reaches out to the contact details you gave us.
We talk through next steps
We explain what is available, check eligibility and coverage, and talk through what could come next. A referral does not guarantee a place in a program.
Who can be referred
- Veterans and other adults who are homeless or at risk of homelessness
- Adults, adolescents and children who need outpatient behavioral health care
- Family members, friends, case managers, providers and agencies sending a referral for someone else
- Anyone referring themselves
Prefer to talk? Call (240) 392-2876 during office hours.
